Dear LMSA Leaders and Friends:

SAVE THE DATE!
March 24-25, 2012 – Chicago, IL.

This message is to inform you about the Latino Medical Student Association – Midwest Regional Conference.

This Conference will take place in Chicago, IL at the Instituto del Progreso Latino (The Institute of Latino Progress). This is a high school that serves more than 14,000 participants annually to advance their basic academic skills, obtain a high school diploma, pass the GED exam, become U.S. citizens, increase their job skills, and provide assistance with employment opportunities.

Watch this inspiring video about our amazing location:

Because the 22nd Annual Regional Conference will take place in a high school, it seems only fair that we would add a high school component to our workshops.

  • Saturday will include workshops and instructional forums for: High School students, Pre-medical students, and Medical Students. It will also have a component where students are able to access Residents, Physicians, and other health professionals. We will also be offering a Research Poster Session and invite all students to consider presenting.
  • Sunday will be centered around community service at the high school.

If you would like to help with organizing the Conference contact us! We are accepting motivated Pre-meds and Medical Students alike for the Conference Committee.
If you would like to be a speaker or assist with a student panel let us know!

More information will be sent out soon regarding: Registration, Abstract Submissions, Community Service Project, and Sponsorship opportunities.
